A special place for children belonging to different categories of Autism
Physiotherapy Unit
The unit requires the necessary equipment and space in addition to a vehicle for parents to transport their children to and from the unit
Physiotherapy Unit
A place for older autistic children to rehabilitate and utilise their talents In future, we plan to give jobs to the children according to their abilities and provide them with income. The space needs to be equipped with mechanisms for transporting children to the facility and back in the evening along with food facilities.
About The Autism Project
To facilitate the growth of a strong, supportive and local autismcommunity, HCI has now launched The Autism Project. The project primarily aims at improving the quality of life of persons on the Autism Spectrum and their families through education, advocacy and support, thereby enabling them to be an integral part of the community. The project’s long-term plan is to build supportive pathways for autistic adults to live and work independently and to their full potential
The Health Care Institute (HCI) is the first non-profit organisation in Kerala in the field of palliative care that believes in the slogan & freedom from pain is a basic human right.
Situated at Sringapuram,Kodungallur under the Travancore-Cochin Literary Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act in 1998 (Reg. No. 514 A/98), the organisation is committed to enhancing the quality of life care for marginalised people. Associated with the National Institute of Physical and Mental -Rehabilitation (NIPMR), Kalletumkara, HCI has a knowledge sharing agreement with the School of Pedagogical Science, MG University, Kottayam.
